Raincrystal padded into the camp, her silver pelt brushed the sides of the tunnel as she entered. Dropping a peice of good smelling prey in the fresh kill pile she walked over to the other side of camp. She wondered if any cat was around to talk to her, maybe Hawkstar, or Rainbreath. Raincrystal stopped in her tracks. Other cats She thought to herself You don't need them Raincrystal, you've got yourself She nodded and turned to leave camp again but she couldn't. She wanted to intermingle with other cats. "No...I don't" She meowed quietly to herself, and then turned to run out of the camp.

Rainbreath sat in the middle of the camp, eating her freshly caught fish. As she finished it off, she saw Raincrystal walking. She seemed to be talking to her self. "Hmm, i wonder what shes's doing." So Rainbreath got up swiped her tongue around her muzzle and started to walk over to her friend. As she approached her she ran into the forest. "Wait! Raincrystal!" She yelled after her. "Dont go!" She yelled and began to run out of the camp to follow her friend.

Nightshade sighed as she watched her few friends leave the camp. She then looked at her belly. It had never carried kits... Messagefeather, Redwhisker, Message, or Hawktalon... The ones she had really loved were gone now. The only emotions she ever felt now were sadness, longing, anger, loneliness. She needed a mate.
Peachblossom was also coming out of the warriors' den. She had had heartbreak in her life as well. Deerfury was her first mate. Their father, Sparrowwing, didn't approve of this until Peachblossom ran away as a young warrior. Then when Deerfury disappeared, Ares was her new love. But, of course, he was killed. Even Hawkstar, their mother, had lost Sparrowwing not long ago. The three she-cats were known as the Lonely Three to RainClan.
"Rainbreath," called Nightshade after her friend. "Where are you going?"

As Rainbreath was running after her friend someone called behind her. it was Nightshade. She asked where she was going. "Oh, Raincrystal ran into the forest, she looked worried. I was going to catch her. Do you want to come?

Nightshade looked behind her at Peachblossom, who was pawing shapes into the dirt.
"No, I'll stay here and keep my sister company. Our younger siblings are out hunting."
Or they should be anyway, Nightshade thought. Knowing Silverblaze and Shadowstorm, they got distracted and Flowerpool got bored.

Nightshade turned to her depressed sister.
"Everything OK?" she asked.
"Well, I've been having mood swings all day. I even snapped at Hawkstar." Peachblossom was a loving cat who never snapped at family. "Ugh, I feel like vomiting."
Nightshade looked at her sister's swollen belly. It had been like that for a while, and with no medicine cat, Hawkstar could only wonder if it was a stomach virus. Suddenly, the peach and white sister collapsed, leaving Nightshade in shock.
"Peachblossom! Are you alright? What's wrong?"
Peachblossom felt her breath shorten, and what felt like a kick on her inside. Wait, a kick? Yes, it all seemed clear now!
"Nightshade!" Peachblossom sounded half horrified and half overjoyed. "I think I'm pregnant! With Ares' kits!"
